Vintage Ring 18k Gold Pink Tourmalines French Unisex Man Woman Wedding (6782)

Vintage ring. 18k gold, pink tourmalines. Made in France, 20th century. Suitable for a man or woman and would make a great wedding ring.

 

Measurements: Weight is 11.3 grams. US size 8.75.

 

Description : This ring would make a great wedding or everyday ring. It is a variation on the theme the French call toi et moi or crossover in English. Modelled gold scrolls passing one another and each set at the widest part with a colette-set pink tourmaline. The ring is very solidly made and has a great look. The tourmalines are replaced stones but look fabulous in this setting.

 

Marks and Metal: French hallmarks include diamond-shaped lozenge for maker. Another mark is not clearly legible - looks like the horse's head, but that was only used until 1919 and we believe the ring was made later in the century.

 

Condition: Good with minor wear commensurate with age. As mentioned, tourmalines are replacement gems. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
