Vintage Bulgari BVLGARI Ring Allegra 18k Gold Aquamarine Amethyst Peridot (7010)

Estate vintage Bulgari ring in the Allegra model. 18k yellow gold, aquamarine, amethyst and peridot. Made in Italy.

Measurements: Weight is 9.7 grams. Approximately US size 7 (European 55).

Description : Unusual and very interesting design that looks great on the finger. The very solid gold shank leads to a bezel in the form of a C that extends at right angles to the shank. The surface is engraved BVLGARI, which is an iconic Bulgari feature. 3 cabochon gems radiate from the C. They are attached via bars of gold to a hidden slot in the C. This allows a certain amount of movement from side to side. Solid gold colette settings hold 3 cobochon gems - an aquamarine, an amethyst and a peridot. While the aqua and peridot are round, the amethyst is heart-shaped, adding to the interest and romance of this beautiful ring. When you hold the ring in your own hands and see it with your own eyes, you can appreciate the great workmanship of this item. It manages to combine a wealth of interesting detail without being fussy. It is very solid and yet very open. This ring really looks great on the finger and it is extremely versatile: it can be worn with any outfit from jeans to party and for any age - from youth to a lot older (in fact, it is one of the few rings that really looks good on an older hand).

Marks and Metal: The inside of the shank is very richly marked. On one side, is the BVLGARI name and 750 (for 18k gold). On the opposite side are the following marks: Made in Italy; Star 1970 AL; a head facing left; an oval mark with Ste 4circles A. Marks are clearly legible except for the one I described as a head facing left.
