Estate ring. Sapphire, diamonds, 18k white gold. Made 2nd half 20th century in France.

Measurements: Weight is 7.0 grams. Approximately 2.5ct sapphire; 0.64ct diamonds. Please see independent appraisal. Approximately US size 7.75.
Description : Made in the Art Deco style, this ring was made later - during the 2nd half of the 20th century. A square sapphire of a corn blue color sits high in the center of the finger. On either side, tapering down to the shank, are baguette cut diamonds, like steps descending towards the sides. Diamonds are of a particularly bright, light color.
Very solidly made.
Marks and Metal: Outside of shank has French eagle head mark for 18k gold and another mark that is worn and illegible; within the shank is engraved 750 (also for 18k gold) and the numeral 2.
Condition: Good with minor wear (light surface scratching) commensurate with use. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
