Henri Vever was on of the most famous and highly regarded Parisian jewellers of the 19th to early 20th century. Knowing everyone who was anyone in the French jewelry world, he wrote a book "French Jewelry of the 19th century", which is regarded as the Bible of French jewelry for over 100 years. Finding actual jewels made by Vever is exceedingly rare. This ring is unisex - can be worn by a woman or a man.
Marks and Metal: Outside of shank has two hallmarks. One is the maker's mark lozenge, partly worn, but with a star over ..VER clearly visible.
Condition: Good with minor wear commensurate with age. It is possible that the ring was resized in the past, which explains the partial visibility of the hallmarks. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
