Vintage charm bracelet. 18k gold. Made in France by Cartier. Signed and numbered. Exact date unknown but believed to be mid to late 1900's.
Measurements: Weight is 42.8 grams. Length a little over 7 inches (18cm).
Description : Gold chain composed of sturdy round links connected via alternating oval links set at right angles. 3 charms are suspended from the chain: a horse, an elephant, a panther. The elephant has his trunk up, which is a symbol of good luck. The panther is the ultimate animal symbol of Cartier. All three charms are wonderfully depicted and very solid gold.
The loops that suspend them are no ordinary loops: they are in fact composed of the Classic Cartier Trinity of 3 intertwined rings of white, red and yellow gold. It is details like this that make the bracelet so special. Until you hold it in your hand, it is difficult to appreciate the weight and luxurious feel of this bracelet.
Lobster claw catch is very sturdy and secure.
Marks and Metal: On lobster catch: 750 Cartier 621072 ; on loop joining catch is eagles head mark for French 18k gold and maker's mark lozenge.
