Art Deco Engagement Wedding Ring Diamond Platinum Sapphires w Appraisal (5499)

Antique Art Deco ring. Diamonds sapphires platinum. Made circa 1920's. Perfect engagement or wedding ring.

Measurements: central diamond is over a carat in size. An additional .25ct smaller diamonds. Ring size US 6.5-7. Weighs 4.2 grams. Bezel approx. 13mm front to back. Note: ruler in 'photos is in inches.

Exquisite design in filigree openwork platinum. A large central diamond surrounded by a double square filigree platinum reserve. Arching openwork shoulders in the form of flowers, very finely set with single cut diamonds, lead to the shank, molded in platinum in the form of flowers to echo those in diamonds above them. Front and back of the central diamond are set with tiny synthetic sapphire accents with openwork diamond crescents ringing the whole. Stunning looking ring.

Marks: the shank has a number of marks, partially worn: 3305 950 Irid Plat.
