Art Deco Earrings Gold Carved Amethyst Rock Crystal Move Swing Dangle (6162)

Antique Vintage earrings ear pendants. Carved amethyst, rock crystal, 14 and 18k gold. Made circa 1920's.

Measurements: Approximately 2 1/4 inches (5.5cm) long. Weigh 4.6 grams.

Description: Simple half-globe posts suspend 3 gold chains of varying lengths. The chains terminate in identical carved amethyst and rock crystal beads. Beautiful deep purple color with gleam of faceted clear crystal. Swing and sway as the wearer moves. Light weight, elegant, fun and comfortable to wear. Great quality. I believe the posts are later replacements, as is typical of antique/vintage jewelry. This does not impinge on the earrings.

Marks: Gold chains stay lightly for acid tested 18k gold. Backs of posts have 14k hallmarks as well as another mark too small to decipher (possibly a maker's mark).
