Antique Vintage Ring Ruby Diamonds 14k Gold c1930 Hungarian Engagement (7195)

Vintage Antique ring. 14k gold, ruby, diamonds, some silver. Made in Hungary, circa 1930.

Measurements: Weight is 4.0 grams. US size 6.75. Ruby weighs 0.52ct; Old European cut diamonds weigh 0.72ct.

Description : Classic daisy shaped ring. A fabulous natural red ruby of a wonderful deep tone, in the center, held by gold prongs is surrounded by a ring of old mine cut diamonds, set in silver over gold, with large parts of the diamonds emerging from their mounts. The form is an oval. Gems beautifully set with the diamonds shown off to best advantage and complementing the ruby. A lot of glitter and gleam in this ring, which naturally draws the eye.
Broad, flat, sturdy gold shank. Very well made.
I wore this ring after I bought it in Budapest until I got back to the USA. It drew an amazing amount of compliments, which shows how it caught people's eyes and impressed them. Makes a beautiful and original engagement ring.

Marks and Metal: A hallmark lozenge on outside of the shank includes a star, letters and 14. Electronically tested with Auracle AGT3: 14k gold.
