Antique Victorian Ring Ruby Diamond Crossover 18K Gold w Appraisal (5257)

Antique Victorian ring. Crossover rubies and diamonds mounted in 18ct yellow gold. Made circa 1880's.

Measurements: Ring approximately US size 6 1/2. Total diamond weight approximately 0.20ct; approximately 1.0 ct rubies. Weight 2.7grams.

Simple gold band twists at the shoulders so that the two sides pass each other / cross over each other. Set with a pair of diamonds on each side and terminating in a lovely bright pink ruby. Rubies have tremendous sparkle and delightful deep pink tone.

The shank of the ring is hallmarked: maker appears to be AHI. The 18k/ct is worn and not legible. Ring tests for 18k gold.

Condition: natural wear commensurate with age. No damage/loss.
