A small snake ring. The hoop with a chevron pattern coming to the bezel in the form of a snake's head, the tail crossing underneath and about to be devoured by the head. THE STORY:
Even before Queen Victoria was given a snake ring as an engagement ring by Prince Albert, snake rings were very popular with the Georgians and even those who came before. After Victoria's engagement ring, snakes became the height of fashion. Interesting and unusual snake rings are still highly sought after and this one is unusual in it's design and small dimentions.
