Antique Victorian Earrings Ear Pendants 14K Red Gold Dangle Drops (6600)
Measurements: Approximately 1 3/8 inches (4cm) long. Weigh 4.4 grams.
Description : Surmounts in the form of half globes made of red gold suspend the main body of the earrings via small gold loops which allow the earrings to swing and sway as the wearer moves. The main body of the earrings are elongated bell-shaped, tapering gently towards the top. The flaring cylinders of white are entwined with ribbons of red gold. A half globe in gold is fitted on the bottoms, elegantly finish off the bell illusion and matching the form of the surmounts. Wires of yellow gold are possibly replacements. Easy to insert into ears and very comfortable to wear, the c-clasp is an added security measure. As good-looking today as they were well over 100 years ago.
Marks: No marks. Gold was acid tested to ensure metal purity.
Condition: Good with negligible wear commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
