Antique Victorian Earrings 14k Gold Turquoise Dangle Drop Ear Pendants (6602)

Antique Victorian earrings ear pendants. 14k yellow gold and turquoise. Made 19th century.

 

Measurements: 1 1/2 inches (4cm) long. Weigh 6.1 grams.

 

Description : A gold bead surmounts the earring on top. It connects to a pair of loops followed by a flaring, scrolling harp shape, from which an elongated kite-shape in gold forms the openwork frame of the main body of the earring. The bottom part of this section is wide and round with modelled pleating and folds, each section terminating in a little golden globule. Within, loops suspend an oval turquoise in a collette setting that swings and sways as the wearer moves, attracting the eye and adding to the interest of the design. Simple gold wires are easy to insert and comfortable to wear. Look great and suitable to wear with any outfit.

 

Marks: Backs are stamped 14k.
