Antique Victorian earrings 14k gold natural coral filigree ear pendants (7379)

Antique Victorian earrings / ear pendants. 14k yellow gold and natural coral. Made in Italy, 19th century.

Measurements: Weight is 6.7 grams. Slightly under 1 1/2 inches (4cm) long.

Description : Elegant and pretty ear pendants. The surmounts are coral beads connected by a pair of loops to the drops. Drops with round coral at their center and elaborate filigree gold work in a tear shape surrounding it. Extremely fine and beautiful workmanship of scrolling wires and golden globulation. The coral is a very pretty salmon-pinky-orange of a lovely quality and even tone.
Screw backs are likely replacements for a lady without pierced ears. It would be a simple matter to convert them back to wires or posts.

Marks and Metal: ITALY k.14 marked on back of screw backs. Electronic testing confirms 14k for screwbacks, but higher for parts of the filigree work. We will guarantee 14k to err on the side of caution.
