Antique Victorian dangle Earrings 18k gold real diamonds ruby paste (4414)

Antique Victorian Edwardian earrings. Genuine, natural diamonds and original ruby paste set in 18k gold. Made circa 1890 -1910 (on the cusp of the Victorian and Edwardian periods).

Measurements: Each earring has approx .65ct diamonds. The rubies are about 1.5 cts each. Length of earrings top to bottom, a little under 1 1/2 inches. Weight 5.2grams.

Description: Earrings with loops that are easy to insert in ear and comfortable to wear. A series of 3 diamonds in tubular colette settings suspends a drop consisting of a gorgeous pink ruby surrounded by old mine cut diamonds. Fabulous colour and great movement.
At the time, paste jewelry was totally respectable as is reflected in its use with genuine, natural diamonds and 18k gold.

Marks and Metal: No hallmarks but acid test holds for 18k gold.   

Condition: Good condition with negligible wear commensurate with age and use. Please see 'photos.
