THE STORY:
The lily has been steeped in symbolism for centuries. It is a symbol of many romantic ideas, including purity and love. In addition for Christians, it is a symbol of the Virgin Mary - herself a symbol of so many of the same qualities.
Beyond the symbolic meaning, lilies are beautiful flowers - often chosen as the centerpiece of floral arrangements and bouquets for a bride and at weddings.
This ring features many characteristics of the Art Nouveau period: somewhat assymetrical, yet totally balanced, elongated elegance, love of moonstones, which also have deep mystical significance.
