Antique Victorian 14k Gold Pearl Rubellite Bracelet (3850)

Antique Victorian 14 carat gold, pearl and rubellite bracelet / bangle. Made 1860-1890.

Rubellite is synonymous with ruby-colored tourmaline.

Weighs 12 grams. Measures 2 1/2 inches across from hinge to clasp. Fits wrist approx 6 3/4 inches.

Band bangle / bracelet, the top set with a semicircle of 10 Marvelous pink rubellite stones. Each stone with 4 tiny pearls at its corners. The pearls enclosed in a gold tube that is set on the outside of the bangle band and protrudes on the sides. On the band, beneath the last 2 rubellite gems is a trio of 3 tiny pearls and then one more, set in a gold ring on top of the band. Secure clasp with safety chain.

No hallmarks as is common with Victorian jewelry, but tests for 14 carat gold.

Good condition with no damage/restorations.
