Outstanding Royal Vienna cabinet vase with artist signed miniature portrait of Hebe, Greek goddess of youth, daughter of Zeus and Hera.
Made late 19th century.
Measures just under 4inches high.
Green base is largely covered with moulded and raised gilding Raised flowers, a fine and delicate gold curtain and gilded jewels.
Exquisite workmanship.
The neck flares to form a floriform, naturalistic rim, also richly gilded with a delicate pattern on the inside.
A heart-shaped reserve on the front has a handpainted portrait of the young and beautiful Greek goddess Hebe.
The artist's signature is on the right, PRELL.
Underneath the vase has the blue underglaze mark for Royal Vienna, the name Hebe in black script and Germany.
Condition is MINT.
No damage of any sort.
