Antique Art Deco ring. 14k gold, diamonds, peridot. Made in the USA, circa 1930.
Measurements: Weight is 4.6 grams. US size 6. Peridot 4-5ct.
Description : Large, oval peridot. Bright, lively green ranging from lime-yellow to deep forest green, depending on how the light catches it. Great play of light and glow. Prong set. Surrounded by a ring of old round cut diamonds. Horseshoe shaped shoulders with a couple of crimps in the otherwise simple shank. Well made, versatile, suitable for every age and function. Peridot has become increasingly popular, possibly because of the fun shade of green that seems to match and enhance every complexion. This ring is a great example of the aesthetics and versatility of the peridot.
