Antique Victorian ring. GIA certified Burmese natural untreated unheated ruby, old European cut diamonds and 14k gold. Made 19th century. Possibly Mughal origin.

Measurements: Diamonds 1.59ct. Ruby 2.55ct. Weighs 3.4 grams. US size 6.75

Description : Flower formed bezel with a central ruby surrounded by old European cut diamonds. Gold mount with flat, broad band. The ruby is a wonderful pink red and has been analysed by the GIA as being natural, with no signs of treatment of any sort and of Burmese origin. GIA certificate available to new owner. In addition, the entire ring was appraised by an independent appraiser (and valued at $36540.00). The diamonds are not of identical size and color, but they are beautiful and fascinating in themselves. Their lack of homogeneity is indicative of good antique jewelry and adds to the fascination of this ring. We can almost see the original owner collecting each diamond for its beauty, over 100 years ago.

Marks: No marks, as is to be expected of jewelry of this age. Gold was tested as 14k by the appraiser.

Condition: Good with minor wear to gems and setting commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
