Antique ring. 14k yellow gold and diamonds. Made and signed Faberge in Imperial Pre-revolutionary Russia. Unisex - suitable for a man or a woman.

Measurements: US size 10.75. Central diamond approximately .85 ct. Total weight 9.3 grams.

Description: Man's ring, suitable for either a man or a woman. Snakeskin engraved pattern on the wide shank that rounds and arches at the top. The bezel has a ring of silver-set rosecuts around a larger old European cut diamond in the center. The shoulders are colette set with rosecut diamonds. When worn, it is almost like a cobra snake about to strike with the snake-pattern surface and the rising bezel. Exquisite. Unisex.
Marks: Russian hallmark with profile facing right, 56 for 14k gold and Faberge marks on the outside of the shank. In addition, the ring was previously assayed in France and has French marks for foreign made 14k gold (shell and swan).
Condition: good with negligible wear commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
We have a letter of authenticity from one of America's most knowledgeable people in the subject of Russian fine antiques and Faberge.
Faberge jewelry is rare, but rings, especially men's rings are much more rare and seldom to be seen.
