Description : Exquisite Art Deco earrings - long, dangling ear pendants composed entirely of diamonds set in platinum, showing them off to best effect, especially at night. Surmounts are a single, round, colette-set diamond linked by exquisitely made lines of diamonds ranging from minute to bold designs of angled squares. A pair of forking lines of diamonds, now with baguette-set long rectangles alternating with the tiny accents, all articulated so that there is full freedom of movement to ever aspect of the earrings. The bottoms are half circles in concentric half hoops of pave set gems, ending in cross-sectional rectangles and containing a larger, raised diamond in the middle. Miligrain detail to mounts. The entire design is very subtle, making for maximum interest. Strong Art Deco geometric shapes and theme. Exquisite workmanship. Very sophisticated and very French. Original backs have been replaced with posts and butterflies to facilitate ease of inserting and comfort of wearing.
Marks and Metal: French hallmarks on the posts. Metal was acid tested to ensure purity.
Condition: Good with negligible wear commensurate with age. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer. Professional Independent appraisal (with value of $21870.00) (please see picture for details)
