Largest aquamarine approximately 3.7-3.8ct.

Description : Pretty fine gold chain composed of long, oval links alternating with a trio of shorter oval links. Ends in a barrell and tongue clasp. The pendant in front is composed of 3 sections.
The upper section is a simple collette-set aquamarine. From this a pair of chains branches out. The chains with small white pearls in their centers. The chains support the central body of the pendant from either side.
The central body of the pendant with a large pear shaped aquamarine. Flaring around it is a ring of open semicircles of gold, each finely set with demantoid garnets.  Gold granulation surrounds the bright green garnets - a very striking combination. At the intersection of each golden arch, is a white pearl. The sides with silver set diamonds in the form of foliage with a pearl between them.
Finally, the third section is another smaller, aquamarine gem that hangs from a loop at the bottom and can swing as the wearer moves.
Very well made. Feminine and very pretty - the whole reminiscent of a beautiful garden with pastel colors. As wearable to day as it was over 120 years ago.

Marks and Metal: Tongue of clasp is marked 15CT.

Condition: Good with minor wear commensurate with age.  Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
