Antique Edwardian GIA Certified Natural Pearl Necklace Gold Pearl Clasp (6043)

Antique Edwardian Gia certified natural pearl necklace. Original 9ct gold and pearl clasp. Made in England circa 1902-1908. Measurements: Approximately 14 1/2 inches (37cm) long. Weighs 7.7 grams. Pearls were confirmed as natural and show no sign of treatment, by the GIA New York. They measure from the smallest to the biggest: 2.07mm to 5.42 X4.97mm. variously shaped. Cream body color. An antique strand of 90 natural pearls. Most of the pearls are off the round in shape and have a golden hue. The pearls were restrung as is evident by the bright gold edges next to the clasp. The clasp is the original Edwardian tongue in groove clasp and has a small gold safety chain and is also set with small pearls. Very pretty. Marks: the back of the clasp has engraved 9CT hallmark. Gold was also acid tested to ensure metal purity. Condition: good with minor wear commensurate with age.
