THE STORY:
A delightful ring combining a sense of fun, lightheartedness with the serious attention to detail and quality of workmanship that made the French leaders in the field of luxury jewelry both in terms of design, technical ability and lavish care about workmanship. Today, colored stones like sapphires and emeralds are highly sought after, especially when they have great coloring, like this particular pair of gems. What was behind the gift of this ring? We will never know, but we can assume from the design and the materials that it was from and to sophisticated, knowledgeable people with comfortable financial means at their disposal.
The Toi et Moi message - you and me - adds to the romantic mystery.
