Antique Cufflinks 18k Gold Enamel Turquoise Unisex Gentleman or Lady (6583)

Antique Victorian cufflinks. 18k Gold, enamel and turquoise. Made in Europe 19th century.

 

Measurements: approximate diameter is a little over 3/8 inch (1.2cm). Weigh 3.9 grams.

 

Description : Small cufflinks suitable for a man or a woman. Round shape. The center is set with a cabochon turquoise. This is surrounded by a band of black enamel with gold dots forming a ring in its center. This is followed by concentric bands of gold: two narrow and a wider, engraved with a zig-zag pattern. All this is raised above the outer gold border.

 

Rounded rectangular links connect each section to the loops behind the disks. Very good standard of workmanship, the cufflinks are very lovely.

 

Marks: No marks. Gold was acid tested and is at least 18k purity.
