Antique Arts & Crafts Art Nouveau Ring 14k gold openwork Amethyst (5416)

Antique Arts and Crafts / Art Nouveau ring. 14k yellow gold and amethyst. Made late 19th - early 20th century.

Measurements: US size 6 - 6 1/2. Can be re-sized. Weighs 4.8grams. Amethyst approx. 10mm long. Note: ruler in 'photos in inches.

A rectangular amethyst with gently cut facets. Lovely slightly pink-purple color with deep overtones. Nice size - makes a statement without being too bombastic. Set in a great openwork gold setting with scrolls and foliage in the Arts and Crafts / Nouveau tradition. Beautifully compliments the amethyst.

Marks: 14K and MG (probably maker's mark).

Condition: good with minor wear commensurate with age.
