Antique Art Nouveau Victorian Ring 18k Gold Diamonds Enamel French (7187)
Antique Art Nouveau / late Victorian ring. 18k gold, diamonds and pearly white enamel. Made in France circa 1895-1905.
Measurements: Weight is 3.9 grams. Length of bezel approximately 3/4 inch (19mm). US size 5.25.
Description : Classic Art Nouveau very much in the style of Rene Lalique, the ring consists of a double flowered bezel. The two flowers run the length of the finger. Each consists of a stylish combination of gold, pearly white and gleaming diamonds, very finely made. The rosecut diamond centers rising above the level of the enamel 'petals', held up by a sweeping gold u-shaped gallery. Enamel has lovely iridescence. Scrolling bifurcal shoulders with globules of gold in the centers. Simple gold shank. Very well made. Looks great on the finger - elegant, smart and enhancing.
Marks and Metal: French owl mark (for 18k gold, unknown maker) on the outside of the shank.
Condition: Good with negligible wear commensurate with age. No loss/damage to enamel. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
