Description : A long-legged wading bird, believed to be a stork, with a long beak standing in the center of the oval bezel, with outstretched wings at a right-angle to the oval, openwork gold background. Standing on a pearl, most likely a natural pearl (but untested as such). Background is an openwork modelled depiction of swaying water foliage, scrolling outwards and drawing the eye in all directions. Wonderful depiction of a bird wading through the water. Beautifully made and wonderful design. Very classic Art Nouveau. A rare find and highly wearable.
