Antique Art Deco Ring Platinum Cab Sapphire Diamonds France w Appraisal (6794)

Antique Art Deco ring. Platinum, cabochon sapphire and diamonds. Made in France circa 1920-30's.

 

Measurements: Weight is 4.7 grams. Approximately US 4.75. Can be resized. 0.56ct diamonds. 3.96ct sapphire.

 

Description : Stunning classic Art Deco ring. Mounted in platinum, a long, oval cabochon sapphire of a gleaming dark blue color. The sapphire seems to float within a barely attached oval ring of Old European cut diamonds. Platinum hoop with triple fork at shoulder. The central fork finely set with tiny diamonds. Ring raised above the level of the finger by a grill of scrolling platinum. Combination of dark blue, brilliant lights is visually very impressive.

 

Marks and Metal: Hallmarks on outside of shank are very faintly legible. Metal was acid tested to ensure purity.

 

Condition: Good with negligible wear commensurate with age. Ring was probably resized and can be resized again quite easily. Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
