Antique Art Deco Earrings Platinum Diamond Silver Clips French w Appraisal (5941

Antique Art Deco ear clips / earrings. Platinum, silver and diamonds. French import hallmarks. Made circa 1930.

Measurements: approximately 13/16 inch long (21mm). Weigh 9.8 grams. Approximately 1.40 ct diamonds.

Exquisite Art Deco scrolling geometric shape. Bright and shiny. Ear clips ride up the ear (opposite direction to dangling earrings), curving with the shape of the lobe. Semi-circular bottoms echo the round bottom of the ear, from which a trio of diamond meteorites seems to fly upwards in an arc that leads the eye either away from the face or towards the center (depending on which side you wear the earring). The movement is capped by a sculptural scroll in the opposite direction. Tremendous sense of movement in the design. The earrings, set in platinum are very finely pave set with diamonds. Borders in platinum. Elegant, beautiful and comfortable. Great quality workmanship. Comfortable hinged clips are in silver.

Marks: earrings have mask - French mark for imported platinum. Clips have swan mark for imported silver.
