Antique Art Deco brooch. Diamonds, sapphire, platinum. Made in France, circa 1920-1930. Suitable for a man or a woman - unisex. Independent appraisal available to new owner.
Measurements:
Weight is 11.9 grams. Approximately 3 1/4 inches (8.25cm) long. Sapphire 0.52ct; diamonds 3.93 cts.
Description :
An elongated, extended stretched out diamond shape. Raised platinum colettes, milligrain edges contain larger diamonds, Old European cut. Beneath and behind them, a background of diamonds, pave set in platinum. The center, a cushiony oval, deep blue sapphire. Gleams, glistens and glows. Fantastic quality, design and workmanship.
