Modern Earrings 18k Gold and Lapis Lazuli Ear Clips Italian 1960 (5947)

Modernist earrings / ear clips. 18k yellow gold and lapis lazuli. Made in Italy circa 1960.

 

Measurements: approximately 3/4 inch (19 mm) in diameter. Weigh 14.1 grams.

 

Smart and chic flower-shaped earrings. The gold is made in 3 rich, rounded petals with a large blue lapis lazuli cabochon in the center. Earrings have studs as well as clips for additional security.

 

Marks: both backs of earrings and inside of clips are marked 750 for 18k gold. The earrings are also marked with a star (indicating Italy) 1842 VI, which might be serial numbers.
